Delhi Capitals’ batsman Ajinkya Rahane on Monday (November 2) played superfine innings of his IPL 2020 season to help DC beat Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 6 wickets in a crucial match at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Rahane played a game-changing inning of 60 off 46 balls to help DC chase down 152 at the expense of 4 wickets in the 19th over to secure a playoff spot on Monday.
Well, Rahane’s innings came at a very crucial time and his baby daughter was so impressed with her daddy's show with the bat against Virat Kohli-led RCB in Abu Dhabi.
After the game, the Capitals shared an adorable video clip of Rahane’s daughter Aarya on its official Twitter handle. In the video, the cute DC supporter can be seen clapping and cheering for her father as Rahane took DC over the line against RCB in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
The clip was probably shot by Rahane's wife Radhika Dhopavkar, as her voice can be heard in the background of the video shared by DC on Tuesday (November 3). DC captioned the clip by saying: “Our cutest cheerleader was super impressed with Papa @ajinkyarahane88's knock last night #DCvRCB #Dream11IPL #YehHaiNayiDilli”
Noteworthy, DC will now face Mumbai Indians (MI) in Qualifier 1 on Thursday (November 5) in Dubai with the winner of the game will qualify directly for the final on 10th November.
