KL Rahul is also the current holder of the Orange Cap by a fair margin.

Kings XI Punjab had one of their most interesting seasons with their IPL 2020 campaign easily separable in two halves. After losing 6 of their first 7 games, the inclusion of Chris Gayle brought five consecutive victories to the med in red and white.

However, just 2 points in the first 7 games proved too heavy for their losses in the final two games, and were knocked out after losing to Chennai Super Kings. After the defeat, skipper KL Rahul and opener Mayank Agarwal took to their Twitter accounts to thank their fans and make a statement that their side will come back stronger next year.

KL Rahul wrote a short and sweet message, "Won together, lost together, fought together and we will be back stronger together"

While Agarwal took some more effort to thank his fans and express his joy of being able to play cricket again.

IPL 2020: "Anil Kumble's fighting spirit can be seen in Kings XI Punjab", says Sunil Gavaskar

He wrote, "Not an ideal way we would have preferred to finish the season but it's been a wonderful campaign for all of us. On a personal front, it felt great to get back out there doing what I love the most. Thank you for always believing in us"
