IPL 2020: WATCH – Suryakumar Yadav ignores as RCB skipper Virat Kohli provokes him by sledging

Suryakumar took MI over the line with an unbeaten knock of 43-ball 79.

Virat Kohli tried to distract Suryakumar Yadav by sledging him | IPL/BCCIMumbai Indians (MI) faced Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 48th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday (October 28).

Asked to bat first, RCB posted 164/6 in 20 overs on the back of Devdutt Padikkal’s 45-ball 74.

Chasing the target, MI lost their openers cheaply but Suryakumar Yadav once again stepped up to the plate for the defending champions.

Batting at No. 3, Suryakumar attacked the bowlers from the outset and scored a dazzling half-century.

During the course of his knock, Suryakumar also had to face Virat Kohli’s sledging as the RCB skipper tried to distract him by passing some provoking comments.

However, Suryakumar ignored Kohli’s remarks, maintained his composure and took MI over the line with an unbeaten knock of 43-ball 79.

Here’s the video of the incident:

Suryakumar Yadav’s innings was laced with 10 fours and 3 sixes as Mumbai overhauled the target with five wickets in hand and as many balls to spare.
