Afghanistan and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) leg-spinner Rashid Khan has been in red hot form in the ongoing IPL 2020. He recently recorded the most economical spell of the tournament, as he picked 3/7 in his four overs and powered SRH to an 88-run win over Delhi Capitals.

Rashid has been on the song throughout the tournament and has 17 wickets in 12 matches at an economy of 5.00 and an average of 14.11 to show for it. He has been SRH’s strike bowler and their most potent one since Bhuvneshwar Kumar got injured and was ruled out of the tournament.

The Afghan spinner has accumulated rich praise from everyone for his lion-hearted bowling and helped SRH get two important points to stay alive in the race for playoffs.

Rashid Khan has been constantly in a bio-bubble for quite some time, as he came to UAE from the Caribbean, where he played in the CPL 2020, again in a bio-secure environment and has been away from his family members for quite some time.

That is why when he shared a cute message from his niece Haseena, everyone’s hearts melted. In the video shared by Rashid on his Twitter, the cute girl is seen blowing flying kisses towards him, as he appeared on the TV screen during the post-match presentation.

Before Rashid dismantled the DC batting in chase of 220 runs, Wriddhiman Saha’s 87 and captain David Warner’s 66 and their 107-run opening stand, laid the foundation for SRH’s huge 219/2. Manish Pandey helped with 44* in 31 balls.

In reply, Rishabh Pant top-scored with 36, while Ajinkya Rahane made 26 as apart from Rashid’s 3 wickets, Sandeep Sharma’s two scalps downed DC by 88 runs as they could manage only 131 runs.
