Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) owner Preity Zinta couldn't sleep after a close win against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 12 runs. Chris Jordan was crucial in KXIP's win as he picked three crucial wickets after the leg-spinners Ravi Bishnoi and Murugan Ashwin brought them in the game.
Apart from Jordan, Arshdeep Singh also picked up three wickets while defending a target of 127 runs. The win helped them jump to the fifth spot in the points table with 10 points from 11 games.
After the win, Zinta dedicated the victory to Mandeep Singh’s father, who passed away on Friday. "Tonight’s win is for Mandy’s father Red heart You have the biggest heart & a lot of grit @mandeeps12 Hugging face I know your dad is in a better place. My condolences to your family. You are a true Sher Lion face Lots of love always.", she wrote.

In another post, Zinta shared how she couldn't sleep because of the excitement of the win. "So excited I cannot sleep पर कोई गल नही सद्दा पंजाब जित गया Hope we did not give too many heart attacks 2 R fans. Tonight’s a great lesson on never giving up & fighting till the End", the tweet read.
Preity didn't forget to recognize the effort of her bowlers and captaincy of KL Rahul. The bowlers did well to defend a low total especially after SRH got a good start in the powerplay. They were 56/0 at one stage but got bowled out on 114.
