The 42nd match of the IPL 2020 saw Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) hand Delhi Capitals (DC) a comprehensive defeat by 59 runs after a brilliant bowling show by Varun Chakravarthy. Earlier thanks to a 115-run partnership between Sunil Narine and Nitish Rana, KKR had posted 194/6 in 20 overs, after being put in to bat by DC’s Shreyas Iyer.
Rana made 81 in 53 balls, while Narine hit 4 sixes and 6 fours in his 32-ball 64, while Eoin Morgan played a small cameo of 17.
In reply, DC lost their openers quickly, with both Dhawan (6) and Rahane (0) falling to Pat Cummins. Though Iyer (47) and Pant (27) added 63-runs for the 3rd wicket; Varun Chakravarthy turned the game on its head with a brilliant spell of 5/20 in 4 overs.

He removed both Iyer and Pant and then accounted for Hetmyer (10), Stoinis (6), and Akshar Patel (9) to become only the second uncapped Indian spinner to pick a five-wicket haul in IPL.
However, apart from his five-wicket haul, Chakravarthy also turned heads for the sendoff he gave to DC captain Shreyas Iyer. As the DC skipper was walking past him after being dismissed, Chakravarthy folded his hands in Namaste and bowed to him, with Iyer looking at him in bewilderment.
Here is the moment between Varun and Iyer:
DC could only manage 135/9 as Pat Cummins picked 3/17 and Lockie Ferguson also picked one wicket and lost the match quite comfortably.
