Cricketer-turned-commentator, Brett Lee, and Scott Styris praised the bowling unit of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). They are having a terrific outing in IPL 2020 by far as compared to their last two IPL seasons.
In RCB's last game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), they restricted them to 84/8 in 20 overs. It was a superb display of fast bowling by them and KKR lost four wickets in the powerplay.
Former New Zealand cricketer Styris feels RCB bowlers have won skipper Virat Kohli's faith. "I always believe that your bowler must have the captain's faith in you. Looks like finally, RCB have a bowling unit that Kohli has belief in and they can do the job," he said on Star Sports Select Dugout.

RCB are doing well with the new ball, and this season their death-over bowling has improved too with the inclusion of Chris Morris.
Lee agreed with Scott Styris, and added, "You are right, it comes down to trust. The captain should trust you as a bowler to put you in any situation. Yes, you have your specific death bowlers or you have your bowler at the top of the order or the first 6 during the powerplay, and then you have your bowlers who bowl in the middle."
"For me as long as you have that trust and understand your role then that will firstly give you confidence as a player and also make you be able to execute your plans and establish yourself as a proper cricketer," he said.
RCB are currently looking favorites to qualify for the playoffs with 7 wins in 10 matches. Their real challenge is finishing in the top two so they could get to play the first qualifier.
