IPL 2020: MS Dhoni gifts his jersey to Pandya brothers; Hardik and Krunal share a photo with it

In the last game against Rajasthan Royals, Dhoni had given away his jersey to Jos Buttler.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni gifted his jersey to Hardik Pandy and Krunal Pandya after the match against Mumbai Indians (MI). The Pandya brothers posed for a picture as they flaunted the gifted jersey.

Hardik and Krunal both have huge admiration for Dhoni and their bonding can be seen off the field too. During the 39-year-old's birthday this year, the Pandya brothers had taken flight to Ranchi during the pandemic to celebrate the special day.

The official Twitter account of IPL posted the picture and wrote, "A memorabilia to cherish for the Pandya brothers ????????#Dream11IPL".

Hardik also made a post for Dhoni and it was them hugging before the match. "Mahi bhai," he wrote and added 'Hugging face' and 'Red heart' emoji.

Talking about the match, CSK didn't perform well and lost the game by 10 wickets. They were restricted to 114/9 after a poor start of 21/5 inside the powerplay. 

For MI, the openers did the job without losing any wicket. Quinton de Kock scored an unbeaten 46 runs, while Ishan Kishan, who was opening in the absence of Rohit Sharma, scored 68 not-out.
