Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner and Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan had an interaction with his players virtually. It was the occasion of their new anthem launch and the players, including captain Eoin Morgan and Dinesh Karthik, came together for a video chat with their owner.

During the chat, Shah Rukh had a suggestion for their bowling spearhead, Pat Cummins. He saw the new haircut of Pat and pulled his leg. Cummins told him he got the new hairstyle done by assistant coach Abhishek Nayar.

Shah Rukh warned the Aussie to not go to him for a haircut next time. "I saw you on the field and I said 'what happened to Pats?'," he said.

Cummins, who went to Nayar 4 times for a haircut, jokingly said the assistant coach was disappointing every time. "Each time, I tried to improve a little bit, until it got to this stage. The next stage is shaving it all, I think," he said.

Even ex-KKR captain Dinesh Karthik joined the conversation and said he had warned Cummins about the consequences. 

KKR have not had the greatest of campaigns in UAE as the performance of the team has been inconsistent. Although they are at number four with ten points in the table currently, there isn't an assurance of playoffs due to an up and down season thus far.
