Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 8 wickets at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi and registered their seventh win of the season while Kolkata Knight Riders suffered their fifth loss.

Earlier Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and opted to bat first. Bangalore Mohammad Siraj gave his team a dream start by taking 3 wickets in the first 2 overs and both his overs were maidens and at 3/3 Kolkata was in deep trouble and after such a poor start they couldn't recover and kept losing wickets regularly.

Captain Eoin Morgan's 30 and useful knocks from Lockie Ferguson and Kuldeep Yadav helped Kolkata to post a mere total of 84/8 on the board. For Bangalore Mohammad Siraj took 3 wickets for just 8 runs. 

In reply, Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal gave a decent start of 46 runs and at the same score both batsmen got out but it was too late for Knight Riders and later Gurkeerat Singh Mann and Virat Kohli took their team home.
