Delhi Capitals (DC) pace spearhead, Kagiso Rabada, felt delighted with the close-fought victory over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Sharjah on Saturday (October 17) and is hoping for his team to continue performing the way they've done so far.
Rabada, who has been key to DC's winning run with 19 wickets and an economy rate of 7.68, was also happy over the fact that his team consolidated the top spot in the IPL 2020 points table, clinching their seventh win in nine games.

"This was a crucial game for us because we wanted to stay at the top of the log. I guess every single game for now on will be a crucial game," Rabada said in a video posted by the Delhi franchise on their official Twitter handle.
"So, I guess when we get to the knockout stages, that's what we would want to make sure that we cross the line when the game is on the line. So, hopefully, we can keep going in this vein."
"Right now, it is just focusing on our next game and seeing how we can improve on the things we did not do so great in this game," he added.
Dismissing CSK's key batsman Faf du Plessis when he was well set, Rabada also became the quickest to 50 IPL wickets, reaching there in his 27th match.
Talking about his feat, the South African speedster said: "Actually, I did not know that but I'm very happy. It is quite a nice achievement so I'm glad that I could do that."
"I guess the hard work continues but I'm really glad that Shikhar scored that hundred and I mean he won us the game today. It was a fantastic game of cricket."
With DC responding to CSK's 179/4 with 185/5 in 19.5 overs, Rabada thought the successful chase will boost the morale of his team's batsmen after they had failed in the previous outing. On the night, opener Shikhar Dhawan was especially brilliant through the innings, scoring his maiden IPL hundred (101* in just 58 balls).
All-rounder Axar Patel (21*) also struck some lusty blows at the end to take his team home, having earlier delivered yet another economical spell of left-arm spin bowling for just 0/23.
"The last game we played where we have to chase but we lost and I think it was a good test for our batters to come in and be in a scenario that they were put in today. Chennai did not give away easy runs but on the ground like this, it is nice to be on the chasing."
"Shikhar - today was his day and he steered the ship for us. All the other batters played a supporting role and then Axar at the end finishing it off. That was really remarkable to watch. It was amazing," said Rabada.
DC next face Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) on Tuesday (October 20) in Dubai.
