A lucky fan got the opportunity to collect a match ball hit out of the Sharjah ground by Ravindra Jadeja during the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) versus Delhi Capitals (DC) match.

Sharjah is a small ground and many of the sixes have traveled outside the stadium too often. The official social media account of IPL shared the video of a fan picking up the cricket ball from the middle of the road.

It was the 18th over of CSK's innings when Tushar Deshpande bowled a length delivery, and Jadeja hit a six on the square leg for a big six.

Jadeja scored 33* runs off 13 deliveries in his cameo for CSK. He and Ambati Rayudu took the total to 179/4 in 20 overs. Unfortunately, Jadeja couldn't defend 17 runs in the last over against Akshar Patel as DC chased down the target with one ball left.

It wasn't easy for Jadeja to bowl in the final over against two left-handers but he got to bowl after Dwayne Bravo got unfit in the match.

"Stop traffic, Am taking this home. That is one lucky fan," the caption on the video read.
