Chennai Super Kings defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 20 runs at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai yesterday night and clinched their third win of the season while Sunrisers suffered their fifth loss. 

Earlier Chennai Super Kings won the toss and opted to bat first but inform Faf du Plessis bagged a golden duck off Sandeep Sharma bowling. Sam Curran counter attacked and his cameo of 31 runs didn't last long but he had given a good start. Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu who both scored in the 40s took the score to over 100 runs. In the end, MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja's 20 odd runs cameos helped Chennai to post a good total of 167/6 in 20 overs. 

In reply, Sunrisers Hyderabad had a poor start as they lost David Warner, Manish Pandey, and Jonny Bairstow inside the first 10 overs and at 59/3 they're in big trouble. Kane Williamson was rock solid at his end and tried his best to keep his team alive in the race but he had no support from the other end. And eventually, Sunrisers finished on 147/8 in 20 overs. Kane Williamson played 57 runs knock while for Chennai Karn Sharma and Dwayne Bravo took 2 wickets each.
