Delhi Capitals (DC) bowler R Ashwin got Rajasthan Royals (RR) batsman Jos Buttler's wicket in a face-off on Friday. Last year, Ashwin had dismissed Buttler by mankading, while playing for Kings XI Punjab.

Ever since the controversial dismissal, fans were waiting for the one-on-one battle of Ashwin and Buttler again. Earlier in this tournament, when Ashwin gave a mankading warning to Royal Challengers Bangalore's batsman Aaron Finch, it just added more fuel to the fire in his rivalry with Buttler.

But this time, the off-spinner got the Englishman with the help of his teammate Shikhar Dhawan, who caught him on just 13 runs. Buttler tried to smash Ashwin over the midwicket region but ended up giving a catch to Dhawan on the square leg.

More than Ashwin, his fans celebrated the dismissal and reminded that he can get Buttler out without mankading too. Eventually, Delhi bowled Rajasthan out on just 138 runs in a 185-run chase.
