The 25th match of the ongoing IPL 2020 will see Chennai Super Kings (CSK) facing off against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), in the second of the doubleheaders on October 10, 2020, at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. The match will start at 7.30 PM IST.
RCB are placed 5th in the points table with 3 wins from 5 matches, while CSK is 6th with 2 wins from 6 matches. It has been a very poor performance from the three-time champions, while RCB has seen their fortunes fluctuating in IPL 13.

CHENNAI SUPER KINGS (CSK)
The CSK team is known for sticking to a fixed plan and backing players who might not be performing for a stretch. They stuck with Shane Watson in the initial few matches, and he has replied with two very good innings, but the same cannot be said with Kedar Jadhav.

He has not impressed a bit and has been lackluster in the field as well. Dhoni hasn’t used his bowling that much and it all came to a still when he played 12 balls for his 7 runs against KKR when the team needed quick runs. 
Fleming, Dhoni, and CSK team management might be now inclined to get a power hitter like N Jagadeesan into the team in Jadhav’s place to bring something fresh to the team.
Bowling-wise they have done well, given Chahar, Curran, and Bravo have gotten good support from Jadeja, Chawla, and now Curran. Dhoni has multiple options to choose from and may need to keep mixing them against a strong RCB batting lineup.
ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE (RCB)
Talking of the Royal Challengers, they have been time and again betrayed by their weak bowling. Despite all the money spent in the auction, they haven’t managed to find a decent bowler, who could pick wickets, or keep runs to the minimum in the last 6 overs.
The opening partnership of Padikkal and Finch has been amazing for RCB, with Kohli and De Villiers coming in next. But after these four, RCB batting goes for a toss, as Sundar and Dube haven’t proven much with the bat, apart from a few innings.

However, they might want to rectify it by bringing in Chris Morris in place of Moeen Ali, as it solves two of their problems. They get a very handy finisher and a bowler who bowls close to 150 clicks in the death.
Apart from that, Isuru Udana, Chahal, and Saini have done their jobs to the tee and even Siraj has looked impressive with his improved length and line bowling.
