Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) bowling attack is having a tough time in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). The team have conceded over 170 runs in 4 out of their 5 games so far and need to make a drastic improvement for the remaining fixtures.
Thankfully, RR bowlers haven’t had to look too far for technical inputs with the legendary Shane Warne, who was handed over the added responsibility of a mentor, stepping in to give the spinners some much-needed advice.
In a video posted by Rajasthan Royals on Twitter, Warne can be seen providing tips to young leg-spinners – Shreyas Gopal, Rahul Tewatia and Mayank Markande – during a net session.
Reacting to the video, Warne on Friday (October 9) tweeted: “Good editing and glad you didn’t give all the secrets away hahahaha. Great to be back with the Royals family !”
Commenting on Warne’s post, former India batsman Yuvraj Singh wrote: “Great opportunity for the young leggies to learn from you ! Specially @MarkandeMayank make the most of it”.
Warne also responded to Yuvraj’s remark, stating: “Thanks legend !!!”
With two wins from five games, Rajasthan Royals are currently in the seventh spot on the points table. They will take on Delhi Capitals in their next clash at Sharjah on October 9.
