Chennai Super Kings (CSK), after struggling for three back-to-back matches in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, finally responded with a strong performance. The team stepped up against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and won the match by ten wickets.

It was a huge win for CSK considering there were receiving a lot of criticism for being mediocre with the bat. The CSK openers, Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis scored 83* and 87*, respectively, and added 1818* runs, bringing joy back for the fans.

Even skipper MS Dhoni's wife Sakshi couldn't hold herself from lauding them for an outstanding display of batting.

After the win, Sakshi took to her Instagram and shared a story in which Faf and Watson are having a chat while giving a fist bump to each other. The partnership of 181* is the highest opening partnership for CSK ever.

Sakshi praised the effort from Watson and Faf and she wrote "class act" in her story. The win also lifted CSK up in the points table and they finally moved from number 8.

CSK won their first match of the tournament against Mumbai Indians in the tournament opener. Since then, it wasn't looking good for Dhoni and co with a complete failure of the batting line-up. Dhoni is hoping his team could repeat the same performance in upcoming matches.
