Rajasthan Royals (RR) all-rounder Rahul Tewatia is among the most talked players this season till now. His five sixes in an over against Kings XI Punjab's (KXIP) bowler Sheldon Cottrell made him a social media star.
Even on Saturday, when Tewatia was facing Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bowlers, he managed to hit three sixes. He scored 24 unbeaten runs off 12 deliveries to give RR a good finish, and former India cricketer Virender Sehwag was impressed.
Sehwag reminded fans that Tewatia can hit those big sixes in any ground and not only in Sharjah, where the dimension of the boundary is small.
Famous for his humor and meme game, the ex-India cricketer posted a picture of late Bollywood actor Amresh Puri with his dialogue from the movie Garv.
"Not just Sharjah, he can hit them in Abu Dhabi as well. Tewatia after 3 sixes today: Tabaadlon se ilaake badalte hain, Iraade nahin.", wrote Sehwag on Twitter.
However, Tewatia's contribution was not enough to take Rajasthan to a safe total. RCB chased down the target of 155 runs in 19.1 overs with the loss of only two wickets.
