IPL 2020: "The great man has spoken," says Shah Rukh Khan after Sachin Tendulkar praises KKR

Sachin's tweet came after KKR defeated RR in their third IPL 2020 match.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner and Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan cheered for his team against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Dubai. KKR gifted him a victory as they convincingly defeated RR by a margin of 37 runs in IPL 2020.

After the win, SRK lauded his players by quoting Sachin Tendulkar's tweet. The ex-India batsman had praised the KKR cricketers for their contributors. Shah Rukh responded to Sachin and said the players have already got applauded by the great and anything he would say may not mean much.

Sachin tagged the individuals and wrote, "Important knock by @RealShubmanGill who played some good shots. @Russell12A ’s brief cameo & good finish by @Eoin16 got @KKRiders to a decent score. Terrific bowling performance as well. Bowling changes were spot on & the team balance looked good," he wrote.

Quoting the tweet of Tendulkar, SRK said, "Now anything I would say about @KKRiders & the boys will mean nothing. The great man has spoken. Just so happy to see all in the team propping up the youngsters & making it count. Love you boys ‘lots of Pyaar from a little afar’." 

Shah Rukh couldn't meet the players and he had to wave at them from far because of COVID-19 regulations. He was also wearing a mask the entire time during the match.
