Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) batsman Mandeep Singh posed for a photo with the team owner Preity Zinta. Singh shared the picture on his official Instagram account. Mandeep picked Zinta's famous character name from the movie 'Veer Zara' to caption the picture. "Zaara ???? #saddapunjab #ipl2020 @kxipofficial," wrote the Punjab cricketer.
Former India cricketer and ex-member of KXIP, Yuvraj Singh reacted to the post. He replied and wrote you can be Zara's Veer. "Te tu zaara da veer", wrote Yuvraj. The character of Veer was played by Shah Rukh Khan in the blockbuster movie.

Mandeep jokingly wrote he can't be Veer but Shabo. "Paaji main Shabo", he replied.
The 28-year-old was bought by Kings XI Punjab in the 2019 IPL. Earlier, he was part of the KXIP franchise from 2011 to 2014 IPL.
