Rashid Khan represented Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their fixture against the Deli Capitals (DC) on Tuesday, September 29. He bowled splendidly well and picked 3/14 in his 4 overs to restrict DC to 15 runs short of SRH's total of 162.

IPL 2020: "Focus is always on bowling economically", Rashid Khan explains his success in T20
Rashid said in the post-match presentation, "Tough one-and-a-half year. First lost my dad, then my mom three-four months ago. She was my biggest fan. This award goes to them. when I used to win an award, the whole night she used to talk to me. Tough times."
The spinner explained that the pitch for the game offered turn if the ball was bowled quicker and he did exactly that to pick 3 wickets in his quota of 4 overs. He also revealed skipper David Warner gave him the freedom to set the field and bowl according to his own plans.
He said, "When I bowled the first ball, I knew if I bowl quicker and harder, you could get a turn. Then you have to bowl the length, a bit back of a length. The captain always backs me, and he tells me you know better. So he tells me, let me know what you want. Only If things are not going my way do you go to ask the captain what to do?"
"I think I don't take pressure on myself that I have to create an impact. I keep calm and cool and focus on what I have to do. I look to do the basics right and enjoy the game," Rashid signed off.
