A total of 11 matches have been completed in IPL 2020 and most of them have gone right down to the wire. In fact, a couple of matches were tied and a result had to be achieved by the super over.

In Match 9, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) were almost out of the game needing 51 runs in the last 3 overs against Kings XI Punjab. That is when the leg-spinner Rahul Tewatia hit 5 sixes off Sheldon Cotterell and brought back RR into the game. They won the match with 3 balls to spare after a mini-scare in the final over as well.

ANI talked to Rahul Tewatia about his thoughts on batting in the super over. He mentioned that it was up to the coaches and the captain to decide who should walk in to bat. Also, the performances in the game do have an effect on that decision.

Tewatia told ANI, "The management, captain and coach have to decide whom they want in the Super Over considering the situation. It also depends on the game who has played well."

He was also quick to mention that if he got the opportunity to play in one of the super overs, he will be ready for his team and give his best out there in the middle. "If I get any such opportunity I am ready for my team. I will try to give my best," he added.

Rahul Tewatia will be in action for the Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday, September 30 against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
