Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) faced the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in a match that turned out to be an absolute thriller in the end. With exceptional performances from Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul, Steve Smith, Sanju Samson, and Rahul Tewatia, Sharjah witnessed the most dramatic game of IPL 2020 so far.

In the second innings, Nicholas Pooran pulled off an excellent piece of fielding on the boundary. Murugan Ashwin bowled the eighth over and dropped a half-tracker to Sanju Samson. He rocked onto the back foot and tried to heave the ball over deep mid-wicket.

On the boundary rope, Pooran dived right over the fence, took the catch, and flicked the ball back in the field of play while being parallel to the ground outside the rope. The effort in the deep saved 4 runs for his side and became the highlight of the innings until then.

The owner of KXIP, Preity Zinta, took to social media to applaud the effort from the West Indian batsman.

Bollywood star Riteish Deshmukh posted the video on his Twitter handle. Preity Zinta quoted the tweet and wrote, "I don’t think I’ve ever seen something like this before. It’s so beautiful, so fluid it feels like poetry. This will go down in History as the best save & the best piece of fielding ever. Take a bow"

Nicholas Pooran will be in action for Kings XI Punjab yet again on Thursday, October 1.
