Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are having a tough time adjusting to the UAE conditions, as the MS Dhoni-led franchise suffered its second consecutive defeat on Friday (September 25) in the ongoing 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.
CSK made a great start of their IPL 2020 campaign by winning the tournament opener against the defending champions Mumbai Indians but couldn’t take this triumphant form to their second game against Rajasthan Royals, losing the game by 16 runs in Sharjah on 22nd September.
Following the narrow defeat, the three-time champions have now collapsed to a second consecutive defeat on Friday (September 26) in the IPL 2020, as the Delhi Capitals thrashed the Yellow Army by 44 runs riding on Prithvi Shaw’s half-century and their power-packed bowling attack in Dubai.

Chasing 176, CSK got off to a horrible start with the openers Murali Vijay and Shane Watson departing early in the chase while Ruturaj Gaikwad has been enduring unforgettable outings, leading the CSK fans to demand for Suresh Raina's return to the IPL 13 in the UAE.
CSK are struggling to fill the void left by Raina who pulled out of the IPL 13 citing personal reasons and their recent defeats show how badly the franchise missed the experience of their highest run-scorer at the No.3 – which is growing impatience for the southpaw’s return among the fans.
Following the team’s successive defeats in the tournament, fans are not happy with the team selection especially its lack of intent and ‘Comeback Mr IPL’ started trending on Twitter as the CSK fans demanded for ‘Chinna Thala’ to return in the IPL 2020.
