Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has questioned former India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar's comments during Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kings XI Punjab's (KXIP) match.

Gavaskar dragged Anushka amid commentary on Virat's performance and said he has only faced his wife's bowling during the lockdown. In the commentary box, Gavaskar recalled the viral video of Virat and Anushka and said, "Inhone lockdown me toh bas Anushka ki gendon ki practice ki hai".

Anushka has often been unnecessarily brought in discussion after Kohli's failures on the cricket field. The actress was upset over what was said during the match and she wants Gavaskar to explain his comments.

She posted a story on Instagram, and wrote, "That, Mr. Gavaskar, your message is distasteful is a fact but I would love for you to explain why you thought of making such a sweeping statement on a wife accusing her for her husband's game?".

Virat flopped with the bat against Punjab and scored only 1 run. He also dropped two catches of KL Rahul, who scored 132 not-out in the match. "I'm sure over the years you have respected the private lives of every cricketer while commenting on the game. Don't you think you should have equal among of respect for me and us?", she added.

Anushka said she is open to discussion and would love to hear from Gavaskar himself about the statement. Here is the screenshot from her Instagram story:
