Kings XI Punjab decimated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 97 runs in their second match in Dubai last night and registered their first win of this IPL season. 

Earlier Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and asked Punjab to bat first. Captain KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal gave a good start of 57 runs. Mayank got out of Chahal's bowling. KL Rahul continued to score runs and brought up his fifty. Nicholas Pooran and Maxwell couldn't score big runs and in their absence, KL Rahul took the charge in his hands, and in the last four overs, Punjab scored 74 runs and finished on 206/3. KL Rahul played a marathon knock of 132* runs off 69 balls with 14 fours and 7 sixes.

In reply, Royal Challengers Bangalore had a very poor start and lost three wickets for just five runs including the big wicket of Kohli. Aaron Finch and AB de Villiers tried to rebuild the innings but they couldn't and the whole team bowled out for just 109 runs. For Punjab young spinner Ravi Bishnoi and Murugan Ashwin took 3 wickets each while Cottrell picked up 2 wickets.
