Chennai Super Kings (CSK) opener Shane Watson likes the way captain MS Dhoni deals with the players in the team. Already an admirer of Dhoni's captaincy, Watson shared an example from CSK's match against Rajasthan Royals which made him like his captain more.

Watson said Dhoni makes sure the players know their mistakes but in an innocuous way. The Aussie cricketer also shared how he had moved from his fielding mark during the game against Rajasthan and Dhoni reminded him instantly.

Speaking about Tuesday’s IPL match against Rajasthan Royals on his video blog, Watson said, “One ball, I was slightly off my (fielding) mark at short third man. And the ball got nicked past me off Sam Curran. And MS Dhoni in his very nice way, not offensively, says ‘Your mark was just over there.’ "

"He makes sure to keep everyone accountable on the field and he does it in a nice way. Yes I feel bad, I’ll make sure I’m not out of position again.”

Chennai lost the match against Rajasthan by 16 runs. They were chasing 217 but failed to achieve the target. Watson was looking in good touch, although he could only manage 33 runs.

Watson praised Sanju Samson, who scored 74 off 32 deliveries and said, “Sanju Samson is one of the best batsmen I have ever seen. From ball one, he was middling it against us. I saw him first when he was a 17-year-old, and he was the most talented young batsmen I had ever seen.”
