Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) grabbed some popcorn after their ex-players Piyush Chawla and Robin Uthappa face each other in IPL 2020. It was the match between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) when the two ex-KKR players clashed.

Uthappa is part of the Rajasthan franchise for IPL 2020, while CSK bought Chawla for Rs 6.75 crore in the auction. Piyush was Chennai's most economical bowler in the first game against Mumbai Indians (MI).

But in the clash against Rajasthan, the leggie turned out to be very expensive and conceded 55 runs in four overs.

Talking about the face-off between Chawla and Uthappa, it was the former who won it. Robin got dismissed on just 5 runs after facing 9 deliveries by the CSK spinner.

"@robbieuthappa vs Piyush Chawla. @KKRiders, you watching?", asked Rajasthan on Twitter. To which, Knight Riders replied with a gif in which they grabbed popcorn for the contest.

In the end, it was Rajasthan who won the match by 16 runs and started their IPL 2020 campaign on a positive note. Sanju Samson, who scored 74 off 32 deliveries, was the Player of the Match.
