IPL 2020: WATCH – Sanju Samson plucks a one-handed stunner to dismiss Kedar Jadhav

Sanju Samson took a blinder behind the stumps | PTIOn the day when he grabbed headlines for his splendid innings against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) Sanju Samson also impressed one and all with his fielding brilliance.

During the fourth game of IPL 2020 in Sharjah, Samson smashed 32-ball 74 to propel RR to a mammoth 216/7 in 20 overs and then he displayed remarkable fielding prowess when CSK was chasing the target.

Samson took two catches behind the stumps and affected a couple of stumpings. But it was his catch in the 14th over to dismiss Kedar Jadhav that hogged the limelight.

After taking the outside edge of Jadhav’s bat, the ball was almost flying over the wicketkeeper’s head before Samson leaped to his right to complete the grab.

Coming to the match, RR opened their IPL 2020 campaign with a 16-run victory as they restricted CSK to 200/6 in 20 overs.

Apart from Faf du Plessis (72 off 37 balls), none of the Chennai batsmen managed to touch the 35-run mark. For the Royals, Rahul Tewatia claimed three wickets by conceding 37 runs in his four overs.
