As the much-awaited 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 is on in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Anushka Sharma, Bollywood diva, and wife of India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Virat Kohli can't keep her eyes off the TV.
Before the IPL 2020, Kohli and Anushka, one of the most favorite and loved couples in the country, recently announced that they are all set to welcome a new member into their lives in January 2021. The actress is currently with her cricketer husband in Dubai for the IPL 13.
However, this year, she couldn’t cheer for RCB and Kohli from the stands due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic but she supported the franchise back at the hotel in Dubai with a lot of excitement.
Well, the RCB led by Kohli started off their IPL 2020 campaign on a winning note, as the franchise defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad in 10 runs in their opening game riding on exceptional performance by Yuzvendra Chahal, AB de Villiers, and Devdutt Padikkal on Monday (September 20).
Following the victory, the ardent RCB fans have indulged in celebrations and Anushka was also jubilant with Kohli and his team’s win in their first game of the IPL 13. Royal Challengers Bangalore will next play against Kings XI Punjab on September 24 in the IPL 2020.
The actress also shared a photo of Kohli high-fiving Chahal on the field on her Instagram story as she was is rejoicing over the victory and captioned the post as a “winning start”.
