Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 10 runs at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai last night and registered their first win of this season.

Earlier Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and asked Bangalore to bat first. Their openers Devdutt Padikkal and Aaron Finch gave a good start of 90 runs. Padikkal got out after scoring a good fifty on debut and in the next over Aaron Finch also got out. Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers took the score to over 100 runs. Kohli couldn't play a big knock and was dismissed for just 14 runs. In the end, AB de Villiers played some big shots and his 51 runs off 30 balls knock helped Challengers to post a fighting total of 163/5 on the board.

In reply, Sunrisers Hyderabad had a poor start as captain Warner got run out on nonstriker's end for just 6 runs. Jonny Bairstow and Manish Pandey rebuilt the innings and 71 runs partnership set the match for a good finish. Pandey was dismissed by Chahal for 34 runs.

Bairstow continued to play his shots and brought up fifty and at 121/2 in 15 overs Hyderabad was in a good position but Chahal dismissed Bairstow and after that Sunrisers kept losing wickets after wickets and bowled out for 153 runs in the last match and lost the match by 10 runs. Chahal was named Man of the Match for his brilliant spell of 3/18.
