England all-rounder Sam Curran performed well with both the bat and the ball for his new IPL team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the opening encounter of IPL 2020. By doing so, he cemented his spot in the side for at least the next few matches.
Meanwhile, his elder brother Tom Curran will be representing the Rajasthan Royals (RR) this year. Tom spoke about how odd it will be playing against Sam and mentioned how the duo always played together and helped each other.
Tom Curran told Sky Sports, "It's going to be really odd, to be honest. We are usually, sort of, helping each other out and getting help from each other."
The duo will surely remember their days playing cricket in their backyard according to Tom. The right-hander also cheekily mentions how Sam will not be able to cheat this time around. For all this to happen, he first has to get into the side, which is tough given the foreign players available with RR.

"But, I think it will be a little throwback to the backyard days although he can't cheat this time. It's really exciting. Got to get into the side first but it's something that we both of us will enjoy," the 25-year-old added.
The Rajasthan Royals will play their first game of IPL 2020 against the Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday, 22 September at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
