Delhi Capitals' (DC) newcomer Marcus Stoinis showed his worth with a quick 20-ball half-century against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in a dire situation. At one stage, Delhi was not looking good enough to even get to 130 in 20 overs.

But Stoinis brought his best game to turn the game in the last three overs. KXIP scored 57 in the last three overs and out of which, 30 runs came in the last over of Chris Jordan.

Stoinis was dismissed after scoring 53 runs off 21 deliveries which included 7 fours and 3 sixes. His innings might have brought happiness for Delhi fans, but the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fans remembered how he didn't perform similarly for them.

This is not the first time for RCB fans when they are seeing a player do well after leaving Royal Challengers.

Eventually, Stoinis managed to tie the match with the ball after taking two consecutive wickets off the last two deliveries when Punjab needed just 1 run. He turned out to be a hero for his team and got rewarded with Man of the Match.
