The 2016 IPL champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will begin their IPL 2020 tournament with a match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on September 21st in Dubai. SRH will be captained by David Warner, who takes over from Kane Williamson, who had led the team for two seasons.
Both Warner and Williamson are key aspects of the SRH team and they will be looking forward to continuing the good work of the past three seasons when they made it into the playoffs and in the finals in 2018. But this time, the hope will be to go onto win the title once again.
Before their tournament opener, Warner and Williamson decided to sharpen their skills, by having a game of darts in the team room. SRH Twitter posted the video with the caption reading "Safe to say, normalcy has resumed at the #SRH camp".
The IPL 2020 saw Chennai Super Kings beat Mumbai Indians in the first match of the 13th edition of the tournament which had to be moved to UAE because of the COVId19 pandemic wreaking havoc in India.
It was originally supposed to happen in March 2020 but was suspended indefinitely until the postponement of the T20 World Cup in Australia by ICC, opened up a window for BCCI.
