IPL 2020: RCB fans outrage over new team anthem for less use of Kannada

The fans were divided over the latest team anthem for the IPL 2020.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has loyal fans who have stayed with them despite no trophy in the last 12 years. They have reached in the finals three times but fell one victory short of lifting the title. Despite some tough phases, the fans stood by the franchise.

Even RCB skipper Virat Kohli has acknowledged the support he gets at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. But the fans were divided on social media after the release of their anthem for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.

The latest RCB anthem is predominantly in Hindi and English. It made the local fans upset. "The Official RCB Anthem is here! And it's dedicated to the best fans in the world. Time to crank up the volume to the maximum, 12th Man Army," RCB said while sharing the video.
