Delhi Capitals (DC) wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is looking destructive in the nets ahead of the IPL 2020 which begins on September 19 and the franchise can't stop themselves from praising him. They posted a picture of Pant on Twitter and dedicated a few poetic lines to the youngsters.

In the picture, head coach Ricky Ponting can be seen observing Pant's batting with a smile and Prithvi Shaw is also enjoying the big-hitting. Pant is the face of DC. With the rising popularity, he has a huge responsibility in IPL 2020.

Hyping Pant ahead of the tournament, Delhi Capitals wrote, "We've got Pant, Rishabh Pant. I just don't think you'll understand. He'll hit you for a six, He'll babysit your kids, We've got Rishabh Pant."

Delhi Capitals are going to kick-off IPL 2020 with the clash against Kings XI Punjab, which is the second match of the tournament on September 20.

Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra is giving Delhi a genuine chance to book a place in the top four. “Delhi Capitals will be in the top four and are actually my title contenders. This could be their year if they play to their potential. Shreyas Iyer will their outstanding player in IPL 2020, he will score runs, do captaincy and make his team win,” he said on his Facebook page
