IPL 2020: CSK’s N Jagadeesan practices keeping in hotel lobby as Sai Kishore bowls to him

Jagadeesan is a backup wicketkeeper for MS Dhoni in CSK team.

Jagadeeshan and Sai Kishore practice in hotel lobby | CSK TwitterThe Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise is one of the best teams in IPL history. They have won three IPL titles and is the only team to win the title back-to-back in two years. They will also start the upcoming IPL 2020 when they face Mumbai Indians (MI), in the tournament opener on September 19 in Abu Dhabi.

This is a lot to do with them picking up the right players, even when they source talent as a backup. The team management does their homework nicely and goes with local Tamil Nadu flavor when it comes to backup players.

Two such players in the current CSK set up are batsman-keeper N Jagadeesan and left-arm spinner R Sai Kishore. Jagadeesan is the backup wicketkeeper for MS Dhoni in the CSK setup, while left-arm spinner Sai Kishore has gone in as a net bowler for the IPL 2020.

Recently, CSK shared a video of Jagadeesan practicing his keeping skills with Sai Kishore bowling to him. However, the duo was not doing this on the field, rather, they were practicing in the lobby of the hotel they are staying in.

Kishore first bowls a chinaman delivery to Jagadeesan, which he pouches perfectly, and then Kishore bowls a normal off-spinner, with the keeper doing his job well.

The third ball however misses its mark and hits a table beside Jagadeesan, on which a flower pot was kept, giving both of them a scare.

Here is the video:
