IPL 2020 is just about a week away and the franchises have begun their practice sessions in the UAE. Three teams - Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kings XI Punjab, and Delhi Capitals will be looking forward to a change of fortunes with a change in the host nation and possibly winning their maiden IPL trophy as well.
Former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg believes that Kings XI Punjab will finish last this season because 'they are too much up and down'.
Hogg said on his YouTube channel, "For me, their overseas player contingent is all match-winners apart from Rahman from Afghanistan and Jordan. Those two have specific roles in this particular team and are quality bowlers."

He also criticized the likes of Glenn Maxwell, Chris Gayle, and James Neesham for being consistent enough and not performing upto the expectations from them.
The 49-year-old said, "But the other guys there like Maxwell, Gayle, and Neesham, they just have the odd standout games, they are not very consistent with what you want from an overseas player. They are too much up and down. That’s why Kings XI are going to finish last."
The Punjab-based franchise has a new captain in KL Rahul and a new coach in Anil Kumble. They will hope things might have changed for the better and they finally end their drought after 13 years.
