Everybody knows how much Virat Kohli loves football, given that it is his second love after cricket. Kohli also co-owns a football team, FC Goa, which plays in the Indian Super League football competition.

He is regularly seen playing the game during practice either with the Indian team or with his Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teammates during IPL. Something similar was seen during a recent practice session when Kohli played the football game with his RCB mates and the franchise shared a photo on their social media.

However, interesting thing was that RCB decided to take a dig at Argentina and Barcelona FC player Lionel Messi via the tweet. They hinted that Virat Kohli can be Lio Messi’s new teammate if he was looking for one.

Messi was in news recently, having decided to end his Barcelona FC days, but decided to see out his contract which ends in August 2021 due to negotiations.

While Kohli's football skills are not up to the level to warrant him a place in the Barcelona squad but the Spanish giants definitely need a strong character like Kohli who can offload some of the pressures of Messi's shoulders, allowing him to weave his magic on the field.
