BCCI President Sourav Ganguly was all praises for the Indian cricket board after it announced Bangalore based credit card bill payment platform CRED as their newest official partner for the upcoming IPL 2020 season in UAE.
It is a three-season partnership which will see the association run through till the 2022 season.
The IPL 2020 will begin from September 19 onwards and a few months back, title sponsors VIVO had pulled out due to anti-China sentiments in the country. After receiving bids from many companies, BCCI named fantasy gaming platform Dream 11 as their title sponsors.
In this time of Coronavirus pandemic with the economy in a downward spiral, BCCI has managed to find multiple sponsor partners with the edu-tech platform Unacademy being named as one of the partners of IPL 2020 for a period of three years a few days back.

The BCCI took to Twitter and wrote, "BCCI announces CRED as Official Partner for IPL #Dream11IPL."
Replying to the tweet, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly wrote, "Well done BCCI .. in this tuff market situation.."

The IPL 2020 will be played with 60 matches happening in 53 days from September 19 to November 10, across three venues in the UAE - Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Dubai.
