The Mumbai Indians (MI) franchise have set up base in the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi, where they have booked plenty of space for the players and their families who will live for two months inside a secure bio-bubble for the IPL 2020 season which begins from September 19.

The MI franchise recently unveiled their lavish team room on social media which has plenty of indoor games, sources of entertainment, and other things to keep the players and family members busy for the whole tournament given that BCCI SOPs forbid them from venturing outside due to COVID-19 threat.

Meanwhile, one of the photos of MI head coach Mahela Jayawardena caught an eye of a fan who asked what was the former Sri Lankan player doing in that photo, which sees him with both of his hands in the air.

Mahela replied to the fan saying, “Was throwing a basketball.. pretty sure it was a two-pointer”

However, this gave fast bowler Mitchell McClenaghan a chance to put Jayawardena’s leg and he stated that “Thought you were playing the conductor for the Pandya brothers band @hardikpandya7 @krunalpandya24”, using a gif of Tom and Jerry cartoon.

The Pandya brothers were captured crooning to a song in one of the photos and therefore Hardik Pandya replied that now they have to include Jayawardene in the band as well. “Hahaha we will have to get mj in the band now,” Hardik tweeted.
