Talking up Anil Kumble's positive influence ahead of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in UAE, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) captain KL Rahul said his life leading upto the tournament has been made really comfortable by the team's legendary head coach.
Rahul stressed on the former India captain and spin great's impact already on him and the side during a video posted on the IPL website.

"Somebody like Anil bhai helps me immensely because I share a very good relationship off the field as we are from the same state and has made life as captain very easy," said the skipper.
"I know he (Anil Kumble) will do most of the planning and I just have to go out in the middle and carry it out," Rahul added.
Kumble, who remains India's highest Test wicket-taker with 619 scalps and is an IPL legend in his own right with 45 wickets in 42 games at an economy rate of just 6.58, joined the KXP set-up after the franchise's yet another unsuccessful season last year.
For Rahul, also the wicketkeeper and opener of the side, Kumble's presence will help him shoulder some of his burden with regards to leadership and tactics.
The India and Karnataka cricketer has been KXIP's mainstay with the bat after coming on board ahead of IPL 2018 and has since scored over 1,152 runs for the franchise.
The IPL 2020 kickstarts on September 19 and runs till November 10 across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
