As the countdown begins for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with all franchises having already reached the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) decided to increase the excitement of their fans by giving a sneak peek into their team room in Abu Dhabi.

All the eight franchises have arrived early in the UAE to serve the mandatory quarantine period upon their arrival in the country to participate in the cash-rich T20 league to be played from September 19 to November 10 amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
While all the players and staff quarantining in their hotel rooms in the different cities of the UAE ahead of the biggest T20 cricket carnival of IPL 2020, the two-time IPL champions KKR took to Twitter on Sunday (August 23) to give their fans a sneak peek into their lavish accommodation in Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi will be KKR’s base for the IPL 2020 in the UAE while Dubai and Sharjah other two venues for the upcoming India league which was moved out of the country due to Coronavirus outbreak.
Sharing a couple of pictures on Twitter, KKR's official social media handle captioned the post: “New city, New #HomeOfTheKnights Sneak-peek into the #KKR Team Room in Abu Dhabi.”
Noteworthy, the KKR will be again captained by Dinesh Karthik this year also having finished on the fifth spot, failing to qualify for the playoffs last year. However, they would certainly hope to turn their fortune in the IPL 13 under their new head coach Brendon McCullum in the UAE.
