IPL 2020: PICS- MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina all smiles as Chennai Super Kings leave for Dubai

The IPL 2020 will begin from September 19 onwards and the teams have already reached the venues as per BCCI SOPs.

The players will have to undergo six days of quarantine before beginning their practice wherever they set up their base. MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, and Ravindra Jadeja were spotted wearing CSK's yellow as they were heading to the Chennai airport earlier today.

Ravindra Jadeja, who reached Chennai on Thursday, also joined the batch of CSK players who will be landing in the UAE on Friday. A few of the players were wearing customized masks as they gear up to live cricket in the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

CSK had hosted a five-day training camp in Chepauk during which MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina announced retirements from international cricket, sending their fans into a tizzy.

Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja also shared a snap at the airport with Deepak Chahar, Karn Sharma, and Shardul Thakur, captioned “Brothers”.

Meanwhile, CSK opener, Australia’s Shane Watson had already reached Dubai and began his quarantine period. He shared a video message from his hotel room on his Twitter handle.

Chennai Super Kings returned to IPL fold in 2018 after a two-year suspension and won the tournament that season. Dhoni then led the team to the finals of the IPL 2019 as well, where they lost to Mumbai Indians by just one run and will be looking to settle the scores when the IPL 13 begins.
