After a long wait, fans will finally see a glimpse of MS Dhoni playing cricket as he has boarded the plane for Chennai to attend the Chennai Super Kings six-day camp at Chepauk.
This will be Dhoni’s second time there as CSK had previously organized a camp for its players in March before IPL 2020, but had to end it midway due to Coronavirus pandemic. The IPL was also postponed indefinitely, but now will take place in UAE instead, starting from September 19 with the final scheduled on November 10.
IPL 2020: CSK players Suresh Raina, Deepak Chahar and Piyush Chawla leave for Chennai
MS Dhoni has been out of cricket since India lost to New Zealand in the semi-final of the 2019 World Cup and this IPL was supposed to be his audition for the 2020 T20 World Cup. Now it will be a chance for his die-hard fans to see him in action once again.
Suresh Raina shared a photo on his Twitter along with MS Dhoni, Karn Sharma, Piyush Chawla, Deepak Chahar, and Monu Singh all aboard the flight to go to Chennai for the camp which will take place between August 15 and 20.
The Chennai Super Kings Twitter account also shared an image of 'Thala' in which he is seen wearing a camouflage face mask.
