Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni started preparation for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, which starts from September 19 in UAE.
Most of the franchises will be leaving the base after August 20 mandated by the BCCI. The Super Kings are set to leave on August 22 for IPL 2020.
Dhoni had visited JSCA Stadium to practice indoor and faced the bowling machine. “He visited the JSCA International Stadium Complex last week. He practiced at the indoor facility using bowling machine,” the JSCA office-bearer confirmed.

“He did batting practice for two days over the weekend, but has not returned since.”
Dhoni likes to keep things private away from the media. “I honestly don’t know what are his plans or whether he will come back for training. We only know he has visited the facility for practice,” added the official.
CSK was looking to set-up their camp from August 10, but BCCI didn't allow teams to leave so early. Now, they will have a three-week practice ahead of the tournament in UAE, as confirmed by team CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan.
