David Warner shares throwback picture on the fourth anniversary of SRH’s IPL triumph

On Friday (May 29), Australia opener David Warner shared a throwback picture on Instagram as his team Sunrisers Hyderabad completed four years of their IPL triumph.

On May 29, 2016, SRH led by Warner defeated the star-studded Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise by 8 runs to lift the coveted title.

"#OTD2016 so proud of all the people who were involved. Was a big family effort," Warner captioned the image.

Coming to the IPL 2016 final, Sunrisers posted 208/7 in 20 overs on the back of David Warner’s swashbuckling 38-ball 69 and Ben Cutting blazing 15-ball 39*.

In reply, RCB managed 200/7 in their full quota of overs. Chris Gayle (76 off 38 balls) and Virat Kohli (54 off 35 balls) were the lone warriors with the bat.
