India cricketer Kedar Jadhav opened up about his experiences with two big franchises, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Kedar started his IPL career with Delhi Daredevils and later got traded to RCB for two years, 2016 and 2017.

After playing under Virat Kohli, his national team captain, he was picked by CSK and he is still part of the franchise.

In a recent Instagram live chat with CSK, a fan asked Jadhav to tell the difference in RCB and CSK on the basis of his playing experience. He said the captains on both sides are a lot different. As per Kedar, he got better backing in CSK by MS Dhoni.

"Major difference between playing for RCB in Bengaluru and for CSK in Chennai is the captain who backs you and gives you the opportunities and has the confidence and faith in you.

"If you know as a player your captain (MS Dhoni) backs you and gives you more than enough opportunities, there is no better feeling. You can see the happiness on his face when you perform, he's happy for you," he said.

Kedar not only lauded Dhoni, but he also went on to praise the CSK fans. "We have all seen how many people turn up even for the practice games. Nobody can doubt this that CSK fans are No. 1 in terms of supporting the team.

"CSK fans are just like the captain - no matter what I will back you and be with you in ups and downs. And if you have a family like the CSK fans that we have, we are bound to win more games than other teams," Kedar said.

Kedar Jadhav with Salman KhanWhen asked to pick one between Dhoni and his favorite Bollywood actor Salman Khan, Jadhav came up with a diplomatic answer. "Superstar for me is a mix of 2 words - super and star. So for me, they both are like a superstar. I cannot differentiate but I would still like to clear this that because of MS Dhoni I have been able to play the duration I have played.

"And because of Mahi bhai, I got to meet Salman bhai. I think it will always be Mahi bhai first then Salman bhai but it is very difficult for me. It is like asking which parent is your favourite?" he explained.

Answering if he ever got scolded by the CSK captain, Kedar said, "Yes definitely, but his (Dhoni) scolding is mostly with the eyes. There is a very famous dialogue from a Salman Khan movie which says, ye Akela Aadmi hai jo aapko sirf ek look ke opposition ki pant gila Kar date hai (he is the only person who can make the opposition wet their pants with just one look).

"That sort of thing I get with him when he scolds me with his eyes, then I have to pull up my socks," Kedar said.
