The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 would have kickstarted on Sunday (March 29) with the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) taking on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the iconic Wankhede Stadium, if there was no outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

MI batsman Suryakumar Yadav is like many other cricketers who are missing the game end, of course, being in action in the IPL 2020, as the Coronavirus outbreak forced the world to be confined to the home to save their own lives and others as well.

Given the current situation, the IPL 13 may be called off this season, as the government has been doing all possible efforts to bring the current pandemic under control in the with the number of COVID-19 positive cases rising rapidly, crossed 1000-mark with 29 deaths in the country so far.

As on Sunday the IPL 2020 would have kickstarted but it could not happen and Suryakumar’s latest social media post clearly said how much he is missing the game amidst the COVID-19 lockdown.
