India women's star spinner Poonam Yadav expressed her desire to play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise if there is ever an Indian Premier League (IPL) for women.

She was interacting with fans on Twitter when a user asked her, "If there is a women's ipl, which team you wish to be a part off? ❤️ #AskPY @poonam_yadav24."

Poonam didn't think much and responded with CSK's name. "Given a chance, I would love to roll my arm over for @ChennaiIPL ❤️."

Given the conditions of Chepauk, Poonam made a good choice. Spinners benefit a lot at MA Chidambaram Stadium and no wonder the Super Kings franchise has plenty of them.

The franchise replied to Poonam saying, "Lionesses are the real hunters! Vaa vaa Manjal malarey! ????????????"

Poonam recently performed very well with the ball while playing for India in the T20 Women's World Cup. She bagged 10 wickets in 5 matches, including her match-winning spell of 4/19 against Australia Women in the tournament opener. But unfortunately, India couldn't win the final against the Aussies.
